Thanksgiving in Hot Springs

This year for Thanksgiving we didn’t go anywhere, other than exactly where we were. We moved around our house, but that was about it. There was a turkey, some friends, lots of food, and some sitting around, some movie watching, some thankfulness, some thanking, and a whole lot of thankless house cleaning.

The month of December will fly by to be sure, we have our Christmas duties to perform in North Carolina, which we gladly do, considering how fun it really is to be on the other end of thankless house cleaning. Then we will head on to Florida, and continue our extended adolescence, as we still giggle like school children when we empty my parents liquor cabinet.

Slim Christmas and Yuletide Carol will make their worldwide debut next Thursday in Little Rock, with the good people from the Arkansas Times. We’ll be playing out on the streets in three different locations around town. Maybe you’ll see us, but not if your still in line at Wal-Mart. Then there will be a smattering of performances around the state through out the month of December. We are looking forward to spreading the good news of the holidays, in case some people still don’t know. In the meantime, we’ll be at the Brau Haus, doing what we do best, drinking that good beer and playing some tunes. Hope to see you there sometime!
